This world is no more for me now

I am the representative of this third world. I’ve no dreams, no realizations; no beliefs, no suspicions; no permanence, no transience. The politicians of the first world have robbed me off all my goodness. They have taken my self-respect, they have labeled me as a terrorist. They are treating me as if I am no more, as if I have never been. And what they are doing all this for: to please their own people, to prolong their own rule. I’ve been peaceful and loving, I’ve been positive minded and good. But they have declared me as something disgusting, as something abhorrable. There is no one to chat, no one to laugh with me. I am living a dead life.
Why don’t they let me live Why don’t they let me die Why don’t they let me laugh Why don’t they let me cry?
Why don’t they let me tell Why don’t they let me talk Why don’t they let me sit Why don’t they let me walk?
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: I am the wretched person of the third world. I feel I have no right to speak to the persons of the 'first' world. The critics may define my mood and thoughts in different ways; but this is how I have learned to feel and think in the conditions provided by the politicians of this world. Presently people find me thinking about a world without politicians -- the world where no one could use us for his political benefit. I don't know how it is possible, but this is what I dream about. Thank God they have not put any limit to my dreams --though in a sense they have tried to do this also. Sorry.
